Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification Course
(virtual + in-person)
This Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age). Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
***** IN-PERSON SKILLS ASSESSMENT*****
This in-person group skills assessment will take approximately 1-2 hours to complete (this is dependent on the number of students in attendance). Class will be held outdoors (weather permitted) and will take place on the upcoming Sunday, following your information session. Students will have 1-year to complete the skills assessment following the completion of the online session. If you are unable to make the scheduled in-person group session, students will have to opportunity to attend the next group session or request a one-on-one session with our instructor. All request for on-one-on sessions will require a $25 traveling fee due prior to your scheduled session. In the event of inclement weather, students will receive an email no later than Sunday morning with a new date. If you are sick or have been in close contact with someone ill, please stay home.
Please note: students will be required to knell down during demonstration. Since this course is outdoors, we recommend bringing a blanket.
